Dr. George C. Stege III
George C. Stege III, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. He is a member of the Jefferson County Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Society, American Medical Association, Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. He graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University, received his MD and a masters degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and was chief resident at the University of Louisville School of Medicine Family Practice Deparment. He was a National Merit Scholar in high school. He participates in the training of medical students and residents of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He was recently featured in an article in the Courier Journal A Life With Computer's and in other articles Only Kid on the Block With His Own Computer , Poor George His Laser Lases But , UEI Extension Student Builds Laser , 2 Louisville Boys Will Fly to See Apollo Blast-Off , and 10 Louisville Seniors Named as Winners of National Merit Scholarships

Lisa Carden Stege
Lisa has been a valuable member of the Hurstbourne Family Care team for over twenty years. She is a native of Louisville and a graduate of Health Careers Institute, has studied at Harvard University, and has masters and doctorate degrees. Lisa is the Practice Manager at HFC as well as our lab manager who keeps all things running smoothly on a daily basis. She has a genuine concern for all of her patients and gives one (or more) of the best shots in town. Visit her blog at lisastege.blogspot.com She is now the only Sjogren's Ambassador in the state of Kentucky, and her mission is to educate doctors about this underdiagnosed condition. Her story is to be published in the Greater Louisville Medical Society magazine.

 



Krystal Tyree
Krystal is a graduate of Central High School and the School of Business and Banking. Krystal is the Insurance and Collections Manager and has recently taken on the role of Referral Coordinator as well. She has been with Hurstbourne Family Care since February 1996. In her free time, Krystal spends time with her son Jordan. She also enjoys reading, bowling and spending time with friends and family.



Amber Stege McClease
Amber started as an intern, and now is the office manager at Hurstbourne Family Care. In addition to helping out as needed with the front office and lab, she is the Endermologie and Micro-dermabrasion Technician at Hurstbourne Family Care. She has her master's license as a hairdresser cosmetologist.  She has two children Dayton and Bryce.

 



Ann Carden Champion
Ann Champion comes to Hurstbourne Family Care after retiring from 35 years of distinguished service at the Norton Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. Before her retirement she was a certified medical transcriptionist and a member of the local, state and national American Association of Medical Transcriptionists. She knows many of the doctors in Louisville. She brings her bright cheerful disposition to her job as our Patient Care Facilitator. She is affectionately know as our "Auntie Ann". She is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She attended the Elizabethtown city schools, and Bethel College.

 



Ashley Carden
Ashley studied criminal law at Chaparral College in Tucson, Arizona and won a Cum Laude award. She also has had experience in the insurance industry. She proudly served her country in the Navy.  A native of Louisville, she lived for years in Tucson, Arizona, and has returned to Louisville.  She has a daughter Ilikea who is her pride and joy.



Heather Adams
Heather comes to us from a chiropractic office with experience as a doctor's assistant and training in massage therapy. She is from Indiana and attended IUS. In this practice she is a medical assistant and carries out duties as a lab technician. She triages and educates the patients with specific attention to the popular HCG hormone. She is married and the mother of two. Her interests include zumba and swimming.

 



Amanda Allen
Amanda joined the Louisville Center for Weight Loss and Hurstbourne Family Care team as a medical assistant after graduating from Daymar College in the summer class of 2011. She is originally from Louisville. Her main responsibility is triaging patients, and she helps out as a lab technician and any duties in the front office she is asked to do. Her free time is spent caring for a young son.

 



Cristy Clauser
Cristy comes to us as a medical assistant. She is originally from Illinois and attends Daymar College, graduating in the class of March 2012. She is a lab technician and her other duties include triaging patients and helping as needed in the front office. She proves to be hard working and is always willing to help in any area where she is asked. She is an asset to our practice.
